You can pay your subscription on the website or at the club. Do not add to cart if you choose to pay cash at the club

To apply for pay as you play or subscription membership pass please complete an entry pass to attend the club here. 

Rule 1

Club Mission

1)  Introduce young people to sport and activities so that they can make good use of their leisure time and improve their wellbeing.

2)  Provide an alternative place to go other than playing on the streets. Enable them realise their potential, develop confidence and understand the role of a responsible citizens.

3)  Ensure that young people age 5 – 19 and above can afford to use the facilities, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds. Increase sport skills of local young people and increase take-up of local clubs and new multi-sport venues.

4)  Increase the level of physical activity amongst the young in the borough, and as a consequence improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.

5)  Improve community safety by reducing antisocial behaviour and crime through engaging significantly more young people in organised sport on a continuous basis thereby encouraging and supporting young people to develop a positive attitude and lifestyle.

6)  Raise educational achievement by increasing participation in sport and physical education and provide a comprehensive programme of vocational training.

7)  Contribute to community cohesion and community capacity building by providing young people with the greatest need, sports related vocational training. All players are given chances to take part in every aspect of the game e.g. coaching, coaching courses, umpire, umpiring courses, game analysing skills and several others that individual player might be interested in.

8)  Promote excellence and enjoyment through active senior players who act as role models for the younger players.

9)  Introduce racial harmony between the youths of London via sports and engage in family fun.

We believe that you have read and understood the mission and Rules of the Club before    joining. We have stressed the use of video-based analysis which have helped us over the period of the club's existence in winning tournaments and we hope to improve the facility as we progress.

Rule 2

Club Rules

1) At all times, members and visitors must follow the instructions of committee members and coaches acting on behalf of the club.

2) Do not use any foul, offensive, inappropriate or abusive language at any time.

3) Absolutely no racist/prejudiced remarks (this will result in permanent exclusion from the club)

4) In the event of a player feeling unwell or hurting themselves, they should report immediately to the coach in charge.

5) Players must not jump over the barriers to prevent accident.

6) Junior members must never leave the playing area without the coach's permission.After a second warning, offending members will be suspended for two weeks. After fourth warning they will be suspended for four additional weeks. Subscription payments for lost playing time are not refundable under these circumstances.

7) When the ball is in play no use of mobiles, video-games MP3 players etc during the session, except with permission from the coach in charge.

8) No kicking or hitting tables with bats or anything else. Do not throw object, hit balls at one another.

9) No name-calling, mocking or any physical or verbal bullying will be tolerated.

10) No stealing. No violent disorder. No player should take or interfere with another person’s property or belongings.  Any incidents of this kind will be reported to the police.

11) During each session participants should help with supervision, set up and set down equipment.

12) All participants MUST sign in; warm up before practising / playing. White tops, School shoes and jeans will not be allowed. You will ask to leave the playing area if you fail to comply with the rules.

13) Parent/ guardian/ carer must understands that your son / daughter / child will be required to abide by the club rules and codes of conducts, the club is not responsible for any accident, and that in the event of an incident, the Club will take reasonable steps to use the emergency contacts information you have provided on the registration form.

 

14) Also understand and agree that our sports coaches/staff  Dulwich Table Tennis Club personnel will take every precaution to ensure that accidents do not happen, they cannot necessarily be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered by my child.

15) During practice, each point is to be taken seriously as if in a match situation, with no chatting while the ball is in play. Always do your best in every situation and set a positive example to others.

16) Club kits are required to play / represent the club in tournaments. No player is allowed to play tournament without prior consent from the club. (You need to use contact us form to request for permission)

You do not have to play tournament for the club to buy your kits at a well reduce price, Individual can have there kits .

17) Always respect your opponents and never underestimate them.

18) Participant must register before they can be allowed to access the facility; you are not subject to contract.

19) Serious breaches of these rules may result in a period of exclusion from the club.I understand and agree it is not the club responsibility if any child breaches the club rules and such child may be excluded from coming to the club activity until he or she comply with the club rules.

20) The club allow players, participant in tournaments. Player will need to sick consent from the club before taking part in any tournament outside the club environment. Serious breaches of these rules above may result in a period of exclusion from the club.

21) We believe that you have read and understood the mission and Rules of the Club before joining us, once you submit the form; you have agreed to abide by rules of the club.

If you have any concern, please notify one of the coaches; do not keep quiet, we are here to help.

(22 )TOURNAMENT RULES

ALL PLAYER PLAYING TOURNAMENT MUST HAVE A VALID LICENSE FROM TTE (TABLE TENNIS ENGLAND).

ALL PARTICIPANTS REPRESENTING THE CLUB AT ANY TOURNAMENT MUST DRESS IN THE CLUB KITS PROVIDED. TRAINNERS MUST BE WORN TO PREVENT INJURY.

IN EVERY TOURNAMENT PLAYED OUTSIDE DTTc, THERE IS £15.00 PER PLAYER DAILY ADMIN & COACHING FEE WHICH APPLY AFTER TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION FEE HAS BEEN PAID. PARTICIPANTS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE TRAVEL CARD UPDATED IF PLAYING TOURNAMENT LOCALLY.

ADMIN & COACHING FEE IS PAYABLE ON THE DAY OF ANY TRAVELING / TOURNAMENT AWAY FROM CLUB VENUE. NO ADMIN & COACHING FEE PAYABLE FOR ANY HOME MATCH PLAYED AT THE CLUB.

PLEASE SEND YOUR ENTRY FORM WELL IN ADVANCE BEFORE EACH CLOSING DATE, THERE IS DEAD LINE TO SUBMIT YOUR TOURNAMENT FORM OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY. ADMIN & COACHING FEE FOR NATIONAL CADET / JUNIOR LEAGUE IS PAYABLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OTHER WISE YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE REMOVE.

Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier.  Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart.  After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, JCB, Delta, and Electron.  We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.  Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped.  You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or securely over the internet.

By cheque (UK sterling only)

Cheques should be denominated in pounds sterling and drawn on a UK bank.  Please make your cheque payable to: Dulwich Table Tennis

Cheques cannot be accepted on overseas/international orders.  If paying by cheque, we can only dispatch your order once your cheque has been cleared.  Please allow up to 10 working days for this clearance procedure.

Stock availability

If you would like to check on the immediate availability of stock, we suggest that you contact us by telephone on 0044 208 123 1608.  We cannot guarantee the permanent availability of all stock lines.  If a product is out of stock, we’ll give you the best information we can with regards to an estimated delivery date.

Out of stock items

We will never debit your credit or debit card for any items that are not in stock.  If an item is temporarily out of stock, this will be clearly shown on your receipt.  Any out of stock item is not charged for until it is dispatched.  You will only be charged postage once, per order.

When confirmation of your order is received, this only serves to indicate that we have received your order: it does not indicate that a contract exists between us.  The contract is made when we dispatch your order.

All prices shown are in UK (£) sterling, other country currency may be available.

All prices include, where applicable, UK VAT at the current legislated rate.

On export orders outside of the EU, UK VAT is deducted. (Local import duties may be payable on receipt of your goods).

Shipping and handling for UK addresses (mainland)

All mainland UK orders (except tables) weighing up to 2kg, are sent out using the Royal Mail 1st Class postal service.  (1st Class post does not guarantee a next day delivery). Heavier parcels are sent by carrier – please allow 3-4 working days.

For tables, generally allow 8-15 days.

Overseas / international addresses

We aim to dispatch worldwide orders within 7 working days of cleared found from the date of receipt of the order.   The delivery times for overseas orders may vary greatly depending upon the postal destination and available methods of dispatch.  Generally, most overseas orders can be sent as a small airmail packet or international parcel.

On all international orders, carriage and insurance will be charged at current costs.  (Jersey, Guernsey and the Irish Republic are considered ‘international’ destinations) other overseas may apply.

International carriage charges are calculated by weight.  On receipt of your order, we will advise you as to any additional carriage and insurance costs that may be required.

Due to various postal restrictions, we cannot send dangerous or flammable products:  glues or cleaners to international destinations.

Delivery schedule

We pride ourselves on our rapid service, and aim to pack and dispatch your goods within 24 hours from the time that your order is received by us.  During peak seasonal demands there may be a short delay in the dispatch of your order, so please allow slightly extra time for delivery.  All orders are processed from Monday to Friday only.

Back orders

If your item is not in stock, you will be contacted by email or telephone, with the option to reserve, replace or cancel your order.

Tax charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, UK VAT at the current legislated rate added. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit card security

When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are securely processed by World Pay or PayPal.  They are not held in any clear text on any website.

Privacy policy

Dulwich Table Tennis Club does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment.  In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site.  You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ and selecting to block cookies. However, If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features involving the use of cookies.  Data collected by this site is used to:

  1. Take and fulfil customer orders

  2. Administer and enhance the site and service

  3. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods-delivery purposes

Returns policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

If you want to return an unwanted product, this must be returned to us in its original, unopened condition.  All unwanted goods must be returned to us within 14 days of the date of receipt.  We will then refund the money paid to us for the returned product.  (Postage charges cannot be refunded.) We aim to keep this process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Exchanges

To obtain an exchange, the goods must be returned intact, in their original packaging, within 14 days of receiving the goods.  Please enclose a note which clearly shows your name, address, contact telephone number along with an indication of the replacement goods that you require.

Faulty products

If a product is faulty, we will replace the item or refund the product cost in full. You will need to notify us of any defects within 7 days of receiving the goods. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Refund Policy in the light of lost parcels

We do our best to ensure your goods arrive on time and in good condition. However very occasionally due to areas outside of our control parcels do go missing.  If this happens we will investigate fully and if it is found that the parcel has been lost in transit for reasons that cannot be determined we will work with you to provide replacement goods or if unavailable provide an appropriate refund.

However investigating a loss can take time. Royal Mail actually specify they will not consider an item lost unless it has been 15 days past its expected arrival date *(vii) Items sent by 1st Class, 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For™ are not classed as lost until 15 working days after the due date.  

We would hope to be able to resolve the issue before this time but please understand that it could take this long to resolve the matter and supply either replacements or a refund.
