Terms & Conditions for participating member players

Membership of Dulwich Table Tennis Club is open to all applicants.

An Application Form should be completed in full. Before you submit your application we believe that you have read and understood the mission and Rules of the Club before joining. We have stressed the use of video-based analysis which have helped us over the period of the club's existence in winning tournaments and we hope to improve the facility as we progress.  
Members agree to abide by the club rules, Terms and Conditions of the Club. Failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of membership.

The club do not provide balls and bat; members must carry their bats and balls at all times when visiting the Club. There is a fee of £1.00 non refundable for renting a bat, and ball can be yours for 0.50p.

 

Participant are not subject to contract.

The monthly subscription services exclude subscribers members from paying the £10 joining fees, Pay as you play members are not excluded from paying £10 joining fee which is payable on the day you register or 30 days after you join us.
Members or monthly subscriptions / payments are payable by  Bank, Building Society, standing order, Papal, or online fast payment.

Payment by other means (such as paying cheque, cash in person each month) is subject to an additional charge of £5 per month. DTTc encourage standing order.

These payments will be drawn from the account specified on the 1st each calendar
month or pay directly into the club account stated on payment page  
Monthly Subscription Membership' will be suspended immediately if the Club is unable to collect a due payment on the due date.
Therefore, if paying by cheque, allow an extra 5 days for the cheque to clear as you will not be allowed to use the facility if payment is not cleared by the 1st of the month   in question.
Monthly subscription members will have the option of pay-as-you play or wait till the next subscription-due date except if there has been proper arrangement with the club before the due date.

Should members want to pay late subscription, there will be surcharge of £5.00
Membership fees are subject to change at any time. The annual review will normally take place between January - September for fees update. Monthly Subscription members will be informed of any changes at least fourteen days prior to implementation.
There is no minimum term contract. Monthly subscription Membership may be cancelled at any time by giving one month’s notice in writing by email (visit www.dulwichttc.com for details of who to contact).
You will need to notify your Bank or Building Society to cancel your Standing Order. 

In exceptional circumstances (e.g. long-term illness, working abroad etc.) membership may be suspended for between two and six full calendar months at the discretion of the management. One month notice is required, and suspension cannot be backdated.
Family monthly subscription membership: Maximum number (Refer to payment page)
Nannies and Au Pairs of any age may be included on a family membership in order to supervise child members using the facilities.
The Club reserves the right to close some or all of the facilities for Public Holidays, for periods of maintenance work, or for occasional special events. These periods will not normally exceed one week, and sample notice will be given wherever possible.

 

For safety reasons Children must come with drink and will not be allow to leave the Playing Visibility without reasonable Reason and must inform the coach in charge before going home (Refer to Club rules)

Club Rules are listed separately on Club Web site. Once a Membership application form is filled or submit, members has agreed to abide by the Club Rules at all times and to cooperate with the reasonable requests and instructions of Club staff.
