MISSION STATEMENT

Dulwich Table Tennis Club (DTTC) exists to make sport accessible, meaningful, and transformative for young people across South London. Through structured coaching, community engagement, and inclusive values, we develop not just players โ€” but confident, responsible citizens.
01
๐Ÿ“
Leisure & Wellbeing

Introduce young people to sport and activities so that they can make good use of their leisure time and improve their wellbeing.

02
๐ŸŒฑ
Potential & Confidence

Provide a positive alternative space โ€” enabling young people to realise their potential, develop confidence, and understand the role of a responsible citizen.

03
๐Ÿค
Affordability & Inclusion

Ensure young people aged 5โ€“19 and above can afford to use the facilities, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds.

04
๐Ÿ“ˆ
Skills & Club Growth

Increase sport skills of local young people and increase take-up of local clubs and new multi-sport venues across the community.

05
๐Ÿ’ช
Physical Activity & Health

Increase the level of physical activity amongst the young in the borough, and as a consequence improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.

06
๐Ÿ˜๏ธ
Community Safety

Improve community safety by reducing antisocial behaviour and crime โ€” engaging significantly more young people in organised sport on a continuous basis.

07
๐ŸŽ“
Educational Achievement

Raise educational achievement by increasing participation in sport and physical education, and provide a comprehensive programme of vocational training.

08
๐ŸŒ
Community Cohesion

Contribute to community cohesion by providing sports-related vocational training โ€” including coaching, umpiring, game analysis, and more โ€” to those who need it most.

09
๐Ÿ†
Excellence & Role Models

Promote excellence and enjoyment through active senior players who act as role models, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of junior players.

10
๐ŸŒˆ
Racial Harmony & Family

Introduce racial harmony between the youths of London through sport, and engage in family fun โ€” building bridges across communities through table tennis.
